The Automated 6-Way Cut System replaces the actions of current manual bandsaw six way cut operations performed in cutting rooms after chilling for sheep and goat processing and can be used to cut Hot or Chilled carcasses installed pre or post chiller.

The concept first robotically splits the carcass then degambrels laying each carcass half on a conveyor where the remaining four cross cuts are completed by a second robot to obtain a 6 Way Cut. Each primal cut will then be directed by conveyor for packing minimising manual handling
