Sensing Systems

Sensing systems are used to maintain quality control by confirming the product is within acceptable tolerances of pre-programmed parameters. Products that do not pass QA (Quality Analysis) checks simply pass by the inspection area and are directed down a reject chute, to a bulk or waste bin.

An automated quality assurance solution using machine vision technology effectively replaces the need for manual inspection which is often done on a sample basis. Automated inspections of up to 1200 units per second per camera are performed by a system which is pre-programmed with the various inspections to perform and tolerances to measure against.
